Field Oriented Control (FOC) of PMSM using SVPWM – MATLAB Simulink Model
This product provides a complete MATLAB Simulink simulation of Field Oriented Control (FOC) of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) using Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM).
The model is designed for students, researchers, and engineers working in Electric Vehicles, Motor Drives, and Power Electronics.
In this simulation, the PMSM speed is controlled using Field Oriented Control, which enables independent control of torque and flux similar to a DC motor.
The inverter is controlled using Space Vector PWM (SVPWM) to achieve better DC bus utilization, lower harmonic distortion, and improved performance compared to conventional PWM techniques.
