Description
In this MATLAB simulation, an Electric Vehicle model with four wheels is simulated. The power is provided by an Induction motor controlled by the Field Oriented Controller (FoC). The vehicle model is designed to track the speed profile provided by the Indian Drive Cycle, which is in terms of m/s. Additionally, regenerative braking is employed during negative slopes, further enhancing the vehicle’s range.
